Q: What does “Buckery” even mean?
A: While I was working on my Bachelor’s degree, one of my design professors assigned us all to create a personal brand. I was really into antlers and deer at the time. The word “buckery” was on my list of company names that I kept going back to. It doesn’t really mean anything. It’s just a word that I liked. This blog was named as a play on words.
Q: Will you make me a dress?
A: Probably not. I am still working on my sewing skills and time management, and I’m already drunk.
Q: Where can I buy your dresses?
A: You can’t yet. I’m really sorry. I am working on finding a solution to this. But for now, you can buy my tote bags and shop my closet, which would be totes rad.
Q: What if I pay you? Then will you make me a dress?
A: You probably won’t pay me, and still no.
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I have been a nanny for three different families for 5 years. I also do freelance graphic design work and sell tote bags and stuff from my closet on the Internet. And sometimes people donate money to my PayPal just because they feel bad for me.
Q: Do you have an Etsy store?
A: No. But I have a Storenvy store (currently under construction) where I sell tote bags and gently used clothing.
